Megan has been another one of my long term clients and I am looking forward to being a part of her big day with Patrick in October, 2014. We met at her house on the east side of Madison for a bridal preview and so I could make sure that hair bounced for her engagement photos. It wasn't hard to make Megan's bubbly personality shine, but lashes and a little smokey eye never hurt.
For the Good Style Holiday season we decided to get a little weird. Claire, the stylist, had always wanted to do an Edward Gorey themed shoot. We took the idea and ran with it for a ad run in a local Madison paper promoting vintage wears and odd curiosities for the Holidays. Good Style partnered with another local Madison business Afterlife antiques and oddities for the ad campaign. It was crazy weather that day but the tornado sky in November ... More
I was so excited for this wedding! The bride Laura has been a hair client of mine for seven years and I was so happy to be apart of her and Aron's wedding. I'm lucky to be a small part of the great story of them! Who doesn't tell your hairdresser when you meet a new guy your excited about? Also, I got to be a part of the process of growing her hair out for the wedding, after chopping ... More
I was hired as a make-up artist for Tiffany's wedding. I was excited about the getting ready location, because it is a house that I have dreamed about being in since I was a child. The Stoughton House Inn is beautiful and was originally the home of the founder of Stoughton, WI. I spent a big part of my childhood in Stoughton, walking past this house, imagining what it would be like to live there. I was spread out on ... More

Good Style's Galentines day party celebrated girls with hearts of gold and nerves of steel. Girls who never say no to fashion. Girls who know that a tough attitude doesn't preclude a braided updo.
Joe of Call Me Balthazar and I have collaborated in the past. He moved to New York this summer, but we squeezed in one last photo shoot before he hit the road. This time we created a steamy summer story about a cowgirl on the run.
A birdcage veil and refined curls are the perfect look for a classic bride like Megan. When Megan first consulted with me about her wedding, her dream up-do required that we give her a little help with clip in extensions. I also used a foam support to add volume. The true beauty is, you can't even tell that it's not all her hair!
Who said candy colors have to be innocent? Pops of super-saturated color highlight and define Brianna's feline features, while a deep black bob keeps the look from straying into saccharine territory. All in all, it's a sexy summer look.
